Next Up Fantasy is a free fantasy football game. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we keep only what the game needs, we never sell it, and there are no ads.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and the basic profile Google shares (name and profile picture). We don't get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
- The name you choose, shown to other members of your leagues.
- Your game activity: the leagues you create or join, your group within a league, and your weekly picks and scores.
- When you open the app: the days you use it, how many times that day, and the time of your first and last visit. We use this to see how the game is being used and, later, to send pick reminders. It's kept for 13 months, then deleted.
We don't collect your location, contacts, payment details or anything else.
Who can see it
- Members of a league see each other's chosen names, picks (after kickoff) and scores.
- Your email address is never shown to other players.
- When you open the app is visible only to the people who run Next Up Fantasy, never to other players.
Services we use
- Supabase stores the account and game data and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google."
Player information and stats come from Sleeper and the schedule from nflverse. We don't send them any information about you.
Cookies and storage
We use your browser's storage only to keep you signed in and remember an invite link you opened. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Kids
Next Up Fantasy is meant for all ages, but children under 13 should play only with a parent or guardian who sets up and manages the account. If you believe a child under 13 created an account without a parent's permission, contact us and we'll delete it.
